WOYWW? - a heap of excuses...

Oh my goodness it's been too long eh?  I blame the weather:

the back yard just now (6pm)

the back yard just now (6pm)

would you sit at a workdesk inside if it was like that in your backyard?  Now don't get me wrong we get RAIN in Brittany...just not on Wednesdays...

Mr G reckons living here is NOT significantly different weather wise to living in the UK midlands - Phaw Fewey I say - AND - answer me this Mr G - how come I STILL am getting fresh veg from the potager?  ( I couldn't even grow these things in Derby in the summer... let alone autumn)...

I have also taken a U turn on lawn maintenance.  This following on from a recent visit from an Englishman who has taught me to use a scythe, and now instead of pleading for a ride on mower I (lady poldark-esque style) work my way back and forth across our prairie... I am a huge convert to silent zen like lawn cutting...but it does take longer and at the moment due to a learners approach can appear a little uneven in it's cut... but golly gosh my bramble killing stroke is so much more effective than the strimmer and the trees survive my ministrations with much less bark chewed off..

Now what has this to do with WOYWW? my point dear reader is that IF I make it out of the potager and past the scythe I am greeted by hungry hens and a dog wanting to go walking... and LOOK ... it's not an easy thing to walk past:

let's go for a walk...

ready to walk

If do  I make it past the anilmals, the renovatiosn call for attention too...

Hence my work desk remains virtually the same as the last time you visited... (craft goes by the wayside whilst progress has been made on all other fronts...)

still i made it back inside, wrote a post shared and will visit, so despite all my excuses I have shown all I have been up to, and know for sure I will enjoy visiting your own desk too...If the sun don't shine I'll be back next weds!
